Last week, State Representative James Arciero (D-Westford) and other members of the Joint Committee on Veterans’ Affairs hosted the Congressional Medal of Honor Society at the Massachusetts State House.
This year’s annual convention of the society, held in Boston, brought together 42 of the 78 living Medal of Honor recipients.
The 2015 convention culminated with an event on Saturday, Sept. 19 at the Seaport World Trade Center led by Marine Corps Commandant General Joseph F. Dunford Jr., New England Patriots Owner Robert Kraft, celebrity chef Robert Irvine and ABC News’ Bob Woodruff.
This year’s convention marked the third time the event was held in Boston, following previous conventions held in 2001 and 2006.
