- Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker has ordered that the United States flag and the Commonwealth flag be lowered to half-staff at all state buildings effective immediately, until sunset on the day of interment, in honor of Massachusetts State Trooper Thomas L. Clardy of Hudson. Once formal arrangements have been made an update will be sent out in regards to the date of interment.
- The Town of Westford has sent out a lost pet alert about a cat named Sammy. She is a multi-colored 6-year-old shorthaired spayed female and was last seen on Wednesday afternoon on Main Street. If you have any information about this pet, please contact Westford Animal Control at animalcontrol@westfordma.gov
or 978-692-4574. - Spring hydrant flushing began earlier this week and it will continue until June 30 during the hours of 8 a.m. t0 3 p.m. If anyone sees cold water after flushing, the Water Department advises to run cold water for 5 to 10 minutes.
