Video via Zoom by Patty Stocker
WestfordCAT’s Patty Stocker Zoom chats with the Lowell Humane Society’s Marketing and Fundraising Director, Crystal Arnott, to find out what is happening at the shelter during the COVID-19 outbreak and to meet a Siberian husky/German shepherd mix available for adoption in these trying times.
The Lowell Humane Society’s Needs
“We have a number of pets in the shelter receiving medical treatment right now”, said Arnott. “And several who have received surgery. Despite some of the world stopping right now outside our doors, we still have a lot of medical cases we are handling here.”
Theo
“He is a really fun dog”, said Arnott. “He walks well on a leash even though he’s really big. It’s not something you have to worry about; dragging you down the street. He’s super-duper smart.”
Crystal asked those interested in adopting Theo that they contact the shelter by phone before coming in. The shelter’s phone number is 978-452-7781.
