JOINT RELEASE: Two Suspects Arrested in Connection with 7 Burglaries and Break-ins Across Middlesex and Essex Counties and New Hampshire

The two defendants were directly indicted by a Middlesex Grand Jury on Wednesday, June 30, 2021. Gabriel Estuardo Rojas and Manuel Jose Lopez were apprehended today by the Middlesex State Police assigned to the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office, with the collaboration of the police departments from Methuen, Lawrence, Tewksbury, Pelham, NH; and Salem, NH. The defendants were placed under arrest and taken into custody without incident.

Middlesex District Attorney Announces New Policy in Relation to Office Website

Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan today announced the implementation of a new policy regarding identifying information on her office website, middlesexda.com.

Arraignment of Westford Academy History Teacher Rescheduled for Feb. 24

When reached by phone on February 10, Colson’s attorney, Lissa McKinney, said, “Mr. Colson expects to vigorously challenge the allegations against him when the case is taken up in court. He has not been arraigned and he is entitled to the presumption of innocence unless or until a judge or jury has found him guilty. I would have no further comment at this time."
