The Town of Westford will be closing Groton Road (Route 40) to through traffic at Gilson Brook near the ACE Hardware plaza for a period of approximately five days while contractors remove an existing culvert and install a new structure.
The Massachusetts Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Board served as the steering committee for the plan. Over the last two years, the Bicycle Plan and Municipal Resource Guide for Bikeability were informed by public feedback and data analysis.
The town center has three new faux brick crosswalks, completing an effort to maintain a historic appearance around the Common. But not everyone is happy about it.
